Further Information On the Goldsmiths site there are toilet facilities, and the Platforms are accessible to wheelchair users. Chilled drinks are available from the Station Booking Office. We ask that young children are accompanied at all times by an adult, and dogs are kept on a lead in the interest of safety. Steam engines are very hot, and can emit sparks and hot soot. Care should also be taken when around the Boating Lake. Your co-operation is greatly appreciated.

This means unlimited rides for all, on your own train. The Boating Lake will also be at your disposal although cannot be reserved for private use. Saturdays and Sundays between 10am and 1pm during the running season (Good Friday to 5th November) may also be available to book. Membership
Becoming a member of the Society has many benefits.
Those members who are not 'active', known as 'Ghost Members', simply wish to support the Society by paying an annual subscription and receiving the benefits outlined below, and visit the railway fairly regularly. This is ideal for those who wish to support a good cause, but do not have the time to actively contribute to the upkeep of this unique and worthwhile facility of Crowborough.
'Active' members make good use of the third party insurance, have a variety of jobs throughout the year, and enjoy the social side of the Society. Active members do not need to have any knowledge of engineering, railways, or expertise in any particular field. They just need to have an interest, and want to meet like-minded people.
Members Receive - Club Newsletters - Cover by third party insurance for running days. - A variety of jobs both Railway operational and maintenance related throughout the year. - An opportunity to learn and drive a Locomotive. - Invitations to all outings to other Railways, Museums, etc..
...And remember, we welcome all ages!
