Halloween Scream Trains - Saturday 31st October
Halloween is coming to Crowborough Miniature Railway for yet another year!
Dare to ride the Scream Train as thick fog descends as you pass around the eerie lake and into the spooky trees!
Watch out for the haunted graveyard - there's little light to see anything hiding under the bridge!
If you're not scared, then be the scary and come in your best fancy dress!
Why not combine with local trick or treating?
Train rides on Halloween Night;
Saturday 31st October, from 5pm until 8pm.
Fares;
£1.50 Single Ride
£4 Evening Rover - unlimited rides all evening.
Please note ticket holder must alight from the train and re-join the queue each ride.

Grand Fireworks Display – 5th November
Crowborough Town Council's FREE Firework Display is back, and this year the theme is '90s Dance Tunes!
Bring the whole family down to Goldsmiths Recreation Ground for a brilliant night of music, lights, and community spirit.
When: Thursday 5th November 2026
Where: Goldsmiths Recreation Ground, Eridge Road, Crowborough
Cost: FREE!
Timings:
• 7:00 PM: Ashdown Radio get things started
• 7:15 PM: Welcome from the Town Mayor and the lighting of the Beacon
• 7:30 PM: The main event—our massive fireworks display set to '90s dance anthems!
Delicious hot food and warm drinks available for sale.
Crowborough Miniature Railway will be open (Running 6pm until approx. 8 PM) be sure to arrive early for a train ride!
While entrance to this event is entirely free, we are proudly raising funds for the Mayor’s charity, Artytime—a fantastic local cause.

Christmas Specials – 12th December 2026
Our popular Christmas Specials will be taking place on Saturday 12th December this year. The railway will be festively decorated and trains are expected to be hauled by a variety of steam and diesel outline locomotives.
Complimentary sweets for the children.
Services will operate between 11am and 3pm.
No booking required. Please purchase your tickets on arrival from the Ticket Office at the back of the station. Normal fares apply for this event; just £1 for a Single ride, and £4 for a Day Rover ticket which entitles the holder to unlimited rides that day. Please note due to the popularity of this event Day Rover tickets are limited so please arrive earlier in the day and make the most of your unlimited rides!
Free parking is provided on site in the Goldsmiths Grounds. Please remember to wear your Christmas jumpers and wrap up warm as this is an outdoor event.
Boxing Day Running
After the pressies are opened and the TV is stuck on repeat.. it’s time for some fresh air and let the children let off steam!
Our final running Day of 2026 will be on Boxing Day, come for a train ride in miniature, your last chance until next Easter!
