CrowFest 2026 – Saturday 11th July

Crowborough Town Council is excited to announce the return of CrowFest, a local family-friendly 1 day festival, offering a fabulous day out for the community and helping local music artists, businesses and community groups grow.

This year’s event will take place on 11th July 2026, from 1pm to 9pm, (the children and stall holders’ area will close at 6pm) at Goldsmiths Recreation Ground and will be completely free to attend.

As well as plenty of live music, the festival will incorporate the council’s usual Summer Fair activities such as market stalls, food and drink outlets, entertainment, and live performances.  

The miniature railway will be joining in with the festival with our Gold timetable (train rides from 1pm to 6pm).

Normal Fares apply; £1 Single Ride, £4 Day Rover for unlimited rides throughout the afternoon.

Diesel Gala 8th August 2026

 

A showcase of our Diesel locomotives.
Our range of Diesel locomotives are modeled on those from several countries and designed for various jobs – shunting, freight, express passenger.
Look out for petrol powered locomotives – these are not normally used on passenger trains on our railway and will be something quite different! Trains during the day may be double headed (two locomotives hauling one train) or top and tailing (a second locomotive pushing at the rear of the train). We have 9 locomotives rostered and will be running at different times throughout the afternoon (subject to availability).

We will finish the day with a CroLoad formed of all our passenger carriages top and tailed by two BR outline mainline locomotives.

Extended opening from 1pm to 6pm but normal fares apply;
£1 Single Ride
£4 Day Rover – unlimited rides on day of issue (ideal to get to ride behind all the different locomotives)
